The #GoodGirlGone is an innovative & educational zoom or in person workshop that responsibly educates young people about human trafficking and empowers them to protect themselves in a fun and age appropriate manner.
Carefully crafted with the help of federal law enforcement, educators and survivors of human trafficking, this comic book workshop is designed to teach children to
identify recruitment conversations
effectively deal with predators and traffickers
know who they can go to for help.
The workshop explores the history of slavery, exposes the practice of modern-day slavery, and challenges young people to create a comic book model of how they can protect themselves from traffickers.
This program includes our Abolitionista! Comic book #GoodGirlGone, film clips, worksheet materials and the “I’m an Abolitionista!” Girl Scout Patch!
With purchase, you can register for any scheduled Zoom or in person workshop in the US with available space. To see the schedule, check the local Girl Scout District schedule of events!
